Patience With Kids

Having patience with children can be difficult at times. We look over how you can take a moment when needed.
This is a very challenging issue for many and has been for me too.
There are times that I have been guilty of yelling and not having patience when needed.

This can be damaging to the child and needs to be taken seriously.
Children in their younger years are very impressionable this does not need to be ignored. Try to have patience with your child.

You have to remember that they have not been in this world as long as you have and they will take a while to accumulate the knowledge that you have. You will forget this from time to time.

This is ok. Just try and bring yourself back to the place of patience. This is very important and will strengthen your relationship with your child. I am not saying don't be firm and be a parent.
You can be a parent and be the leader without yelling and getting upset. I am not into having a discussion with a child about different tasks they are asked to do. I will answer a question if they have one, but I will not engage in a conversation per say.

There is a difference. Children look for ways to manipulate and try to get over on you. This is their job in life while they are young.

There is no way around this except to learn when they do it and face it head on.
This is where patience is especially important to have.

Be firm and stand your ground. Remember you are the parent.
Parents have gotten out of touch with being parents today I believe.
There are principles that the Bible teaches that I am getting ready to learn that have been affective for many parents. I am hoping this does the same for my family as it has for others.
A big thing for me was reminding myself that a child is just a child. They are growing and learning everyday and a rate that is very hard to understand.

Their brain is continuously looking for new information and its you job as a parent to give them that information.
This information will be anywhere from love to discipline.
Just make sure that you have patience with them.

This is a great place to start.
