How to Entertain Kids With Wholesome Fun

1) Bring them to the playground.

Preferably one which is publicly accessible. Firstly, this allows your kids to have the kid's fun and expend their seemingly endless energy in this fun and safe way.
Secondly, this gives them a chance to interact with other children and get them to take their first steps in social activity.

Preferably learning to share and perhaps take turns.

2) Bring them swimming.

Obviously, water is so much fun for kids, and soon, either you can teach them swimming or make them take swimming lessons.
Personally I feel that swimming skills are important to everyone as an exercise and as a vital survival skill.

Who knows when you might need to jump into the waters? 3) Bring them camping.

The survival skills your kids can pick up here are also essential.

They can also learn to be much more independent, and learn that toughness that school cannot teach them.

While you are with them too, the bonding you can achieve with your kids is absolutely priceless, not to mention the memories.
4) Participate in extra curricular activities. For your kids, an example could be the band or some activity which requires strong teamwork.
The regimentation will allow them to learn about discipline.

Obviously, they will make new friends there, friends that would be of good influence.
This also keeps them out of trouble, especially when school is over.
I think it also gives them focus and something to aim for.
A band could be training for the finals. So is the soccer team.

5) Sometimes it is fun for the kids to play in the rain and stomp on puddles. Remember to get them suitable rain gear and also, there are cute rain boots for girls you could look at.
Most important of all is to respect your children and give them some space to do their own thing.
They do appreciate you giving them responsibilities and the ability to make their own decisions and face their consequences, good and bad.
